This is an original and complete WWII U.S. Army cook's 20-man cutlery set. The canvas roll was manufactured in 1943 by General Shoe Corp. It must have been updated during the Vietnam War, as both the spoon and butcher's knife date to 1967 and 1962, respectively. This would make an excellent addition to a field kitchen display.
